*gunzip sm56-gcc2.tar.gz
*tar -xvf sm56-gcc3.tar
*cd sm56-gcc3
*make install
Download sm56-gcc3.tar.gz

For Gcc 2.x Versions of Linux

*Login as root.
*gunzip sm56.tar.gz
*tar -xvf sm56.tar
*cd sm56
*make install
